Our focus areas include promoting access to education, advocating for sexual reproductive health rights, improving water sanitation and hygiene practices, and enhancing livelihood opportunities for the youth.
GTYI promotes climate-smart agriculture & agribusiness for youth in Hoima & Albertine Region. Our programs train young farmers in techniques like agro-ecology, agro-forestry, and value addition, moving beyond subsistence to profitable agribusiness
We provide scholarships, vocational training & teacher support for vulnerable children & youth in Hoima District & Albertine Region. This approach ensures that children access quality education through scholarships, while providing youth with practical vocational skills training.
GTYI provides clean water, sanitation & hygiene programs for schools & communities. Access to clean water and sanitation is a fundamental right. We work with schools and communities to construct water harvesting facilities, protect water sources, and promote essential hygiene.
GTYI provides comprehensive SRHR education, teen pregnancy prevention & health services to Ugandan youth. We empower young people with life-saving knowledge and access to age-appropriate Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) information and services.
Local policies and implementation often fail to adequately address the needs of young people, especially in areas affected by industrial development and population growth. Golden Trove Youth Initiative (GTYI) advocates for policies supporting children & youth in communities.
We believe that environmental conservation and community prosperity must grow together, which is why Golden Trove Youth Initiaties have established community nursery beds dedicated to producing seedlings that we distribute free of charge to families across our locality.
