Our focus areas include promoting access to education, advocating for sexual reproductive health rights, improving water sanitation and hygiene practices, and enhancing livelihood opportunities for the youth.
We are strategically focused on the Albertine region of Uganda, targeting the most vulnerable communities where child rights abuses and youth unemployment are highest.
GTYI is the direct successor organization. The primary school was our foundation, and GTYI was created to extend that support to youth as they age out of the primary system.
Based on our 5-year strategic budget, the majority of funds support direct program interventions (Development Expenditure). A smaller, essential portion covers administrative and monitoring costs (Recurrent Expenditure) to ensure effective and accountable program delivery. We provide detailed financial reports to our partners and donors.
We provide official receipts for all donations. Please consult with your local tax authority regarding deductibility.
We welcome both local and international volunteers, especially those with skills in teaching, agronomy, public health, and IT. Please contact our Secretariat at info@goldentroveyi.org with your CV and area of interest.
Yes! We actively seek strategic partnerships with CSOs, government agencies (like MoGLSD), and development partners. Contact our Partnerships Manager at admin@goldentrove.org.
Our programs train young farmers in techniques like agro-ecology, agro-forestry, and value addition, moving beyond subsistence to profitable agribusiness.
Our holistic approach ensures vulnerable children access quality primary education through scholarships, while providing youth who have dropped out with practical vocational skills training.
Access to clean water and sanitation is a fundamental right. We work with schools and communities to construct water harvesting facilities, protect water sources, and promote essential hygiene.
We empower young people with life-saving knowledge and access to age-appropriate Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) information and services.
