Our focus areas include promoting access to education, advocating for sexual reproductive health rights, improving water sanitation and hygiene practices, and enhancing livelihood opportunities for the youth.
The Albertine region faces particular Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) challenges, including high teenage pregnancy rates, limited access to youth-friendly health services, and cultural barriers to open discussions about sexual health. In Hoima District and surrounding areas, these issues are compounded by population movements related to oil industry activities and limited healthcare infrastructure in remote communities.
